LHBA Women in Construction Luncheon: Building Leaders, Sharing Stories & Inspiring Progress

Join LHBA members and guests for a Marché-style afternoon tea featuring a dynamic panel of women leaders, meaningful conversation, and connection across the home building industry.

This event brings together women from all sectors of the home building industry to recognize women who are trailblazers in their fields, highlight ongoing challenges women are still facing professionally, and inspire the next generation of leaders in the industry. Attendees will hear from a diverse panel of accomplished women—both from within and outside the home building industry—who will share their personal journeys, career insights, and the paths that led them to where they are today.

Sue Wastell, of Wastell Homes and Past CHBA President will moderate our panel welcoming:

Heather Damaren, Director of Manufacturing, General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada
Christina Giannone, OHBA Board Chair and Vice President Planning and Development of the Fram Group
and Karen Vecchio, Former Member of Parliament

Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned professional, this afternoon of open discussion and shared experiences will leave you feeling connected, encouraged, and inspired in your own journey.

LHBA members are encouraged to invite women from their teams to attend. This event is a valuable opportunity to support professional growth, foster connection, and introduce emerging leaders to the wonderful community within the home building industry.

*Please note, the RSVP deadlines for our events are based around our venue and food ordering deadlines. As a not-for-profit, we strive to keep costs down in order to maximize the reach and offerings of the organization. Please be mindful that the Association still pays for your place at an event if you choose to not attend or cancel your place past the RSVP deadline (March 18). Ticket cancellations after the RSVP deadline date or no-shows will be invoiced to the member. Thank you for your understanding.
